Notion underwent a major website refresh to update both our web design system and messaging. I was brought in to collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging, translate that into copy, manage stakeholder feedback, and ensure we launched on time. I probably wrote over 500 different headlines 🙃 We shipped a new homepage, four product landing pages, and a new design system. The new homepage drove +24% in workspace creation rate and $1M in additional ARR.
Over the next year, we used the new design and messaging system to ship a revamped AI product page to launch Notion Q&A (the first iteration of Notion’s AI assistant) as well as a new Calendar page to launch Notion Calendar, Notion’s first foray into becoming a multi-product business.
